Moving On

I am moving on
reaching toward my hopes and dreams
It has taken me far too long
to reach this place, it seems

My fears may try to hold me back
To try and block my way
But with courage and faith in my heart
I will get there come what may

The road will be a long one,
And it may be rocky, too
But when I reach this place in time,
My dreams could all shine through

I am coming nearer to my goals
And my excitement grows
The plans I have made will soon be real
Along with the destiny I chose

Though I have been tossed and turned in life's storms
I will surely see a brighter dawn
I'm no longer held back by my fears
I'm finally....Moving On

yeah (14.14 / 7)
i've really truly finally reached that place where i can move on, leave the past behind.
because i know i really did do all i could do to help the parents, their passing was not my fault. i have nothing to feel guilty about & really nothing to be sad about. it was their time to... move on.
ironically, watching this silly tv show dead like me is what really has brought this all home to me.
it's time for me to move on too. follow my dream.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! What beautiful pictures and poetry, but right now, I'm a-steaming, (6.50 / 4)
because I've been trying, in vain, to get hold of the proper people to determine whether or not my dishwasher is affected by the recall.  I have a strong hunch that it is, since the Serial number to my dishwasher ends in one of the two-letter endings mentioned on the direct mail letter that I got in the mail over the weekend.    In the meantime, I've unplugged the dishwasher.  I've tried online, the last customer service agent tried to look it up for me, and, in both instances, their system came up with an "error" message.  What is wrong with these people that they don't take the time to improve their system and hire on more people to take on more customers?  Customer service is getting worse and worse, and this whole thing disgusts me.  These people are so f**king retarded, or malevolent, or both, that it really disgusts me.  Nobody gives a rat's ass.  All they do is order pretty little apologies, which don't cut the damned mustard any more, for me, anyhow.  I don't have time to spend on the phone all day.  There's not even an email or writing address so that I can contact them and give them a piece of my mind, which I'm dying to do.

Under their advice, I unplugged my dishwasher, since I can't turn off the circuit breaker, but I feel that I'm really getting a screw-over deal here.  In the meantime, I'll have to go without using the dishwasher, thanks to those retarded fuck wads and shit tards.   Imho, They're the screwed up ones, not me!

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Love that (14.75 / 4)
top pic.  The colors are fantastic.

Lala's been teasing me with her water bottle.  She goes over, cocks her head toward the spout like she is going to drink from it, then looks up at me and pulls back.  Katie tricked her into taking one drink from it yesterday.  Katie set the squash juice on the water bottle while she fed the juice to her and Lala, seeing it through the glass must have thought we had filled the bottle with squash juice and took a drink from the bottle. She was not a happy piggy when she found out she had drank water.  LOL  I've seen her pick up some hay here but then she drops it.  Her weight has been staying steady the past few days.

Lately I've been reflecting on previous ERDR runs:
http://www.dailykos.com/user/E...   http://www.dailykos.com/user/s...

We've been busy getting this years ERDR planned.  I'd forgotten how chaotic it is getting it going.  Tons of emails going back and forth.  Some about the job and some catching up on what each other have been doing for the last two years.  Its a lot of work, but very rewarding and I get to work with Joy and her hubby again.  It was through the first ERDR that I met Joy.

I love those colors, too! (11.00 / 4)
and I'm so happy that Lala is holding her weight  :O)  I just know she's gonna be her old self soon!

I had no idea that you worked so hard on the ERDR series - I can only imagine how hectic it is. please give Joy my warmest regards when ya talk to her!

Will do (13.67 / 3)
Joy was sneaky the first go round.  She was doing a lot of the work and we didn't know it.  We thought her hubby was doing all the compiling and emailing. But after the election we had a chat party and her hubby let us in on the secret then that his wife had been doing a lot of the work.  So I knew Joy before I knew I knew her.  ;)

Besides not eating hay or drinking out of her water bottle, Lala is her old self.  She was playing her old biting game on Katies arm the other day.  The one where she bites a little piece of skin and pulls until you say ouch.  She left welts all over Katies arm. :)
