This next pen is a rollerball made from Brown Mallee burlwood. Mallee is an Australian eucalyptus. The burl is actually a kind of tumor that is found on trees. Burlwoods are highly sought after by woodworkers as well as by admirers of fine wood products, for their distinctive and unique figuring. This particular pen also has some beautiful sapwood, which is the light cream colored area. This pen is available for $100.
This is an Amboyna burl rollerball. Amboyna burl, usually found in Indonesia, is one of the most highly sought woods by woodworkers, and this particular specimen has a rich, deep brown color with fascinating whorls. This pen is available for $125.
This is an acrylic rollerball pen, with a long barrel and a cap that features a rare earth magnet. The magnet allows the cap to sit snugly on either the top of the pen, or the bottom while you are writing. This pen is available for $100.
