to me (11.33 / 3)
they look more like wee-tiny dinosaurs than anything else

how high would the gallows need to be to hang the rich man?"

I think its their beaks (15.67 / 3)
It does give them that appearance.  :)  But they're still cute!

They look like they're trying to communicate telepathically to get you to let them out of their cage.  Or to feed them.  ;)

the cutest (13.00 / 3)
wee-tiny dinosaurs ever :O)

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see. ~ Thoreau ... and, do no harm

They're adorable! (15.33 / 3)
(& of course, they are dinosaurs, in a way: their distant ancestors were dinosaurs.)

I used to hang at out science fiction conventions with an artist who specialized in dinosaur paintings & sometimes a friend of his (a curator in the dinosaur dept. of the Smithsonian iirc, or maybe Natural History in NYC) would let him look at behind-the-scenes stuff.  We laypersons call all the great lizards dinosaurs, but in fact dinosaurs are a specific subgroup.  Brontosaurus (forget what they've renamed it -- Apatosaurus, maybe?), for example, is not a dinosaur.

So when do your little dinos start laying?  And -- you probably mentioned this already but I forgot -- what kind of chicks are they?  I bet the princess will have tons of fun feeding them.

English usage is sometimes more than mere taste, judgment and education - sometimes it's sheer luck, like getting across the street.

start laying around september. it takes 20+ weeks for chicks to lay...

the princess just loves em.
& hopefully when they start laying she'll get an egg every time she goes to check (about 5 times a day)

ROFL (11.50 / 2)
Five times a day?  And they're not old enough to lay yet?

bwahahahahahahaha

She is indeed a brilliant child -- she knows what to look for -- but perhaps she needs to learn a tiny bit about biology -- ?  Chicken biology, at least?
