Hello and welcome to a weekend wind down with a bright but cold afternoon in the Bronx. It's been a while and I know you must hurting for some photos of a pretty decent sundown, yuk, yuk.

Including the above shot today is a Sunday twelve pack that is more about the afternoon sun that the end of the day.

Eddie C :: Sunday Sunset
Today was one of those days in New York where it seemed a bit cold but the clouds were perfect. It filled in a bit more in the late afternoon.

I like this view where the sun finds a spot on the Palisades.

And here with the Palisades, a ship and some foreground light.

I didn't mean to cut off the passing ship but the view was blinding.

Here's a good view of "break on through."

And the wide angle.

Coming on strong.

And then, too bright for my camera.

Until last light.

Good night.

please, somebody nudge me when i overlook things!

As soon as I notice that you've overlooked something, sis, I will let you know.  Of course that would involve me noticing something: yeah, right, good luck.  In the meantime, I think we're better off relying on fireflies who actually, y'know, notice stuff.  (^.^) and ;-D

English usage is sometimes more than mere taste, judgment and education - sometimes it's sheer luck, like getting across the street.
