PETITIONs, ETC

Credo: Tell President Obama: Don't sell us out to Wall Street
"Don't sell us out to Wall Street. Stop pushing the state Attorneys General to agree to a settlement that gives banks immunity for mortgage and foreclosure fraud that hasn't yet been investigated. Wall Street banks must be investigated, indicted and prosecuted to the full extent of the law."

Tell the Dept of Justice: Protect the right to peacefully protest
We call on the Department of Justice, our nation's top law enforcement agency, to stand up and protect American citizens whose rights to protest peacefully are under attack -- from New York to Oakland and every occupation in between.

Americans for Financial Reform: Tax Wall Street.
We know where the money is. Tell Congress its time for Wall Street to start Paying US Back! A tiny tax on financial services can generate billions of dollars.

ACLU: Stop excessive police force in Oakland
Tear Gas. Rubber Bullets. Bean Bag Guns. Flash Grenades.
Reports keep coming in of extreme force by Oakland Police in dealing with Occupy demonstrations. As tensions rise in the Occupy movements in Oakland and around the state and the nation, we need to let police departments know that excessive force is not acceptable.
What happened in Oakland impacts all of us
When police respond to peaceful protest and civil disobedience with excessive force, the result is to make people afraid to exercise their free speech rights. The Constitution was intended to protect us from exactly that.
Use this form to tell the Oakland Police Department and the mayor to stop the excessive force.

Recipients: Oakland Mayor Jean Quan;  Oakland Interim Police Chief Howard Jordan
Read more about it HERE

Democracy In Action: People of faith say no to attacks on Occupy Wall Street
Police in Oakland, California, have attacked thousands of largely peaceful protesters -- firing tear gas, flash grenades and rubber bullets into crowds that included children, the elderly and people with disabilities. Local police have cracked down on other Occupy encampments across the country, evicting and arresting hundreds of nonviolent protesters in Chicago, Atlanta, and Albuquerque. Occupiers in Baltimore, San Francisco, and other cities are also being threatened with eviction.

When a peaceful movement for social and economic justice is met with violence and repression, people of faith have a moral obligation to speak up. If local authorities see that Occupy encampments have the support of the religious community, they'll think twice about shutting them down and resorting to violence.
Add your name to a petition calling for an end to attacks and arrests on Occupy protests:

As people of faith, we condemn all violence and repression targeting the Occupy Wall Street movement. In communities across America, occupiers are providing a peaceful witness against corporate greed and economic injustice. We call on local authorities to respect their freedom of expression.

Working America: I Am Not Your ATM

The people who gave us the financial crisis are at it again. Their greed and irresponsibility demolished our economy, leaving us to bail them out-and how do they thank us? They're going right back to business as usual, getting rich off of our money and spending millions lobbying against new rules to prevent a future crisis. Now, to add insult to injury, some banks are creating new monthly fees just for having a debit card. Around the country, starting from New York's Liberty Plaza, people are standing up and saying enough is enough. It's time for banks to be a safe place for our money, not another place to get nickeled and dimed.

Sign our petition!

WE the People: petition the obama administration to: Make Bribing Politicians Illegal
No corporation should be allowed to give campaign contributions to any politician or political party that is involved in writing or voting on legislation that affects them or the industry they profit from. [...] Corporations giving millions of dollars to politicians could not create a more clear conflict of interest in policy making - ITS A BRIBE. If the Administration disagrees we would love to hear why.

Change.org: NYC Mayor: Stand with Occupy Wall Street
Not a single banker has gone to jail for crimes that led to the financial meltdown. But now over 1,000 protesters have been arrested in the inspiring Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City.

Tell Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Kelly: Respect the Occupy Wall Street protesters' constitutional right to peaceful assembly.

Change.org: Occupy Wall Street: Occupy Together
We, the 99%, are fed up with our elected officials doing nothing to curb corruption and allowing, if not assisting, in the degradation of our rights, freedoms and liberties as not just citizens of the United States of America, but citizens of the Planet Earth.

We won't stand for intimidation and brutality that is taking place against these protesters. We support them, support their cause, and support their actions.

Eric Grieco: Tell Congress: We need jobs, not cuts!
Speaker John Boehner:

We stand with the 99%.
We're fed up with Wall Street greed and Washington inaction.  We need jobs, not cuts, and policies that benefit 99% of Americans instead of only the top 1%.
Congress needs to work to build an economy that works for all of us, not just the richest.  As a first step to putting America back to work, Congress should pass the American Jobs Act immediately -- no later than by the Thanksgiving Recess.  And pay for it by taxing Wall Street speculation.

AVAAZ: The World vs Wall Street
To fellow citizens occupying Wall Street and peoples protesting across the world:

We stand with you in this struggle for real democracy. Together we can end the capture and corruption of our governments by corporate and wealthy elites, and hold our politicians accountable to serve the public interest. We are united - the time for change has come!

Credo Action: Stand with Occupy Wall Street
"Not a single banker has gone to jail and yet over 1,000 protesters have been arrested. I stand with the protesters of Occupy Wall Street, and I demand that the NYPD respect their constitutional right to peaceful assembly."

Get Money Out
It's Time to GET MONEY OUT of politics
Bailouts. War. Unemployment. Our government is bought, and we're angry. Now, we're turning our anger into positive action. By signing this petition, you are joining our campaign to get money out of politics. Our politicians won't do this. But we will. We will become an unrelenting, organized wave advocating a Constitutional amendment to get money out of politics.

READ CoupMedia's LIST OF PROPOSED "DEMANDS FOR CONGRESS"
VOTE BEFORE OCT. 20th
First of all. There are no Official Demands of the Occupy Movement.  that being said, multiple factions of the movement have been assembling to discuss and vote on the output and message for the movement.  Below is a LIST OF PROPOSED "DEMANDS FOR CONGRESS" proposed by the website (occupywallstreet.org) which does not entirely represent  the Occupy Wall Street General Assembly.  Below this list is a list of grievance that citizens have provided nationally and have voted on in solidarity of the movement.
