Fer Fawkes Sake Occupy!
These OWS posts are adopting a new format- an online 'newspaper' ~ Please Subscribe!

This 'newspaper' will be evolving in the next week or so, as I figure out how it works.
I will eventually have several sections (hopefully).
I'll be updating here but not nearly as much or as often as before.

lyrics~ (13.50 / 2)

"Uprising"

Paranoia is in bloom,
The PR, transmissions will resume
They'll try to, push drugs that keep us all dumbed down
And hope that, we will never see the truth around
(So come on)

Another promise, another seed
Another, packaged lie to keep us trapped in greed
And all the, green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on)

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
So come on

Interchanging mind control
Come let the, revolution takes its toll
If you could, flick the switch and open your third eye
You'd see that, we should never be afraid to die
(So come on)

Rise up and take the power back
It's time the, fat cats had a heart attack
You know that, their time's coming to an end
We have to, unify and watch our flag ascend
(So come on)

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
So come on

Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey

They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
So come on

Its looking good (10.00 / 1)
and the archive link seems to work.  Since I don't know what was in each addition yesterday I don't know if it showed all the stuff from both or not.

Do you know if the "news spotters" with a number beside it means how many page views or unique visitors for that edition or day?

[ Parent ]
newspotters (16.00 / 1)
is how many sources drawn from.
yesterday was like 200 or something.
i added filters to the rss feeds to streamline what shows up (& not get right wing crap) but i put too many on i guess & have almost nothing today :(

i re-juked it &  it should update at noon today... hopefully with more content!

i'd love for this to be automatic but right now it's taking a lot (too much) time.
so i'm doing it in little spurts.

maybe soon i'll get it straight

See (16.00 / 1)
my comment in todays open thoughts.  Frustration is well frustrating and not a good time to solve problems.  Try and find something to do to take your mind off of it for awhile.  Maybe read a bit from one of your favorite books, watch a good movie, take a nice bath or nap.  Find something that will either take it out of your mind for a bit or allow your brain to float for awhile.  Then tackle the problem again and I bet it will come right to you.
