I`m back with more underwater images in support of the gulf coast, it`s inhabitants above & below the surface, & to all who`ve worked so hard to keep the daily developments on the front pages.
I would like to also mention a big "Thank You" to all the workers out on all the skimming boats, the oil retrieval crews on the beaches, & the crews out working on the rigs, tankers & the ROV operators who have worked nonstop to end this gusher.
I cannot blame them for the bad decisions of their managers.
Now that the gusher is stopped albeit temporarily, I think we can have a little breather.
Then we`ll have to get back to keeping this catastrophe at the top of the news, since we all know how the style of news cycles here can rapidly shift away the important issues to iPhones & Lohans.

I must stress that the images I post are not necessarily gulf inhabitants, they are my tank inhabitants, but it`s the only way I can personally do my part to make others aware of what we stand to lose, when we are not proper stewards of our planet.
With that in mind, we have to be prepared to work for years to clean up this disaster.
The oceans are the heartbeat of this planet, & we just gave it a stroke.

No I don`t think they`ll ever learn either.
Man has been doing this since he went to the neighbor in the next cave & bashed him over the head, to steal his food. There was enough for both, but greed reared it`s ugly head.

The fact that I`m always preaching about the oceans being the heartbeat of the planet, I was very surprised to see that Kathleen had used it in one of her comments to me.
Between her & RiaD, I` am now able to know how to embed it & that it really suits my philosophy of what our planet really is.
A living being, on a much grander scale than what we arrogant humans could fathom as we plunder it.
The oceans as it`s heartbeat.
The forests as it`s lungs.
The rivers as it`s veins.
The animals as it`s soul.
The humans as it`s virus.
One planet,
One people.
How`s that so hard.

Your photos are shockingly beautiful, so electric. I gave this to you in another post and I want to post it again......... putting your creatures in here and we get just a hint of the total loss.

I am sick and on my knees like Michael Jackson in this... it was one of his last gifts to us.

All I can offer in thanks for your support is a few images.
The first I call "Sea of Love" a sculpture in glass,

and one of my other favorite sculptures.
It has a tube running up the center, where the water running over her head creates her tears & the algae builds up her character.

Here`s the same "Rainforest Goddess" I shot a year ago.
