That I like:

Erm...just Plant (10.00 / 3)
No Page.

Fuck.

Hit "go" without thinking...

This doesn't fit (15.00 / 3)
But Mr. D might like it.

how high would the gallows need to be to hang the rich man?"

Four and 20 (13.67 / 3)

I love Stephen Stills.

Hey, Timbuk -- (14.75 / 4)
talk about "doesn't fit."  This one's just stuck in my head -- yes, I have an earworm -- since I got up today.

English usage is sometimes more than mere taste, judgment and education - sometimes it's sheer luck, like getting across the street.
E. B. White

Sweet (15.00 / 2)
I've always liked that song.

"I Advance Masked" (11.00 / 2)
It came out 82, shortly after I gave up serious attempts at guitar playing. My friend who had been my teacher turned me on to it. I recommend listening to the whole cd in sequence.

Review: Date Submitted: 5-May-98

By: Eric Kirchner (Leonidas at xnet dot com)

"A strong release that previews things to come for both Summers and Fripp...
"Painting and Dance makes you feel like you're at the Louvre, and China Yellow Leader drifts along in a shower of guitar patterns over a steady eastern background. The first seven songs of the album are some of the very best I've heard from either of these two. It's well crafted, intense and a joy to listen to.
"Some of it is not for the faint of heart -- Seven on Seven can be a chore to listen to and Stultified sounds just like what the title suggests.
"In fact, 'well-crafted' is a good way to sum up the album. It is extremely ordered in approach and execution...
"I've found the album to be a consistent pick in my collection, and I highly recommend it."

I agree with this review, mostly. It can "be a chore to listen to" a couple of the songs, but it's sort of like listening to Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring" for me - The first time you hear it you will run rioting through the streets of Paris claiming its the devil's own music and then after you hear it a few times, you'll realize how profoundly beautiful it actually is...!]

btw, the outtakes and/or alternate cuts of two other songs from the album that are available on youtube aren't worth listening to. They suck, and are obviously first takes, or worse...

Found one more... (9.00 / 2)
Ok, somebody stop me! I haven't listened to these songs in a while and it got me interested in hearing them again....
