Thanks! (15.00 / 4)
I do like Fremont and Capitol Hill, myself...

:)

The rents though, ouch!  But well I guess if I'm actually making decent money again...

Seattle sure don't have inner city 600-something per month rents like we do here, eh?

Look at (15.00 / 5)
Beacon Hill and Ballard Areas

West Seattle is another great community but it can be spendy too I think.  I am going on the buying market if prices are high I would guess rent would be higher.

I have been out of the rent market for a long time.  You may have to be here and dig to find the deals.  Places where students live is your best market I think and that would be capital hill and green lake.

I know Ballard! (15.00 / 5)
My mother, my 10-year old niece and I ate at Smokin' Pete's BBQ there in March when they were last here and we spent a day up in Seattle.  Food was kinda just okay, but holy shit the portions were massive!

I was also in Seattle with my dad last month, and we ate at the Steelhead DIner in Pike Place Market.  Damn, that place was good!  I had the Oregon bay shrimp & tarragon salad sandwich, and a couple Seattle beers I can't recall...

Anyways, back to Ballard - I remember making a note to myself that it was a cool neighborhood.  Thanks for the reminder!  Sorta reminded me of SE Division St around my way, or the Beaumont area of NE Portland a little bit...
